For this proposed project I was to use a film to help brainstorm a final piece by exploring characters, mood, sounds, and all the parts that go into a movie. My film choice was Taika Waititi’s What We Do In the Shadows, which is now also a tv series. It is shot mockumentary style and documents the everyday lives of vampires. The final piece was a series of Transylvania Health Department posters, along with a companion digital sketchbook that captures the mood, themes, and humor of the film.
