theme park propmaking

My love for film and crafting collided in this project. To choose a direction for this idea, I read at least 7 young adult books. The plan was to choose a novel that would be ideal for film TV, then design and build some props. I chose Jess Rothenberg’s The Kingdom. The setting is the not-too-distant future in a Disney-like theme park inhabited by organic/robot hybrid princesses. Most of the designs are for gift shop items or clothes which would be worn by park visitors. There is also a large 30 lb hand-sculpted and weathered sign.
